Digital KPI Framework

edtecIs your School EdTech Ready?

Educational technology is a powerful tool in enhancing teaching and learning, potentially raising standards and making school management both more efficient and effective. However, strategic planning is essential to ensure that the school’s substantial investment in technology achieves a high impact on the pupils’ learning and raises learning outcomes.

Using the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) framework enables your school to see where you currently are on your EdTech journey, where is it as a School you want to go and how is the best way to get there financially, strategically, operationally, while using technology to enrich both teaching and learning.

I am currently in the process of creating a whole school wide Digital KPI Framework which will help you to evaluate your school against a series of statements that will help qualify whether key areas of requirements have been met.  From the profile generated by your responses about your school, you will be able to see where you are in your EdTech journey and prioritise areas for further development.

The Digital KPI Framework is divided into 6 main areas of Vision, Finance, Technology, Pedagogy, Content and Online Awareness. These six key elements are the nuts and bolts of an EdTech Strategy and need to be considered in parallel with each other for successful implementation of appropriate educational technology implementation and integration in Teaching and Learning.
